Product Description : Imagine being able to hang or wall mount your XC snow skis in your bedroom, garage or office and have this one of a kind display. Most people put them in a corner of the room, garage or in a closet. If you ever hit them with your feet you know what I am talking about. The Standard Vertical XC Ski's Wall Mount is one of the easiest ways to get organized and make you place look neat and store your skis at the same time. Installation is easy and you will be able to grab them and go skiing. Get organized so your ski's have a place to be put when you come back home. Made for cross country skis. This is a new idea and not available in any stores. We also hang guitars, surfboards, snow boards, and guitar heros to! Check us out. (As a safety issue- mounting your xc skis this way is very safe, because the skis are against the wall on display, with the ski edges are facing away from you. Ski racks that have the skis sharp edge facing out are a little dangerous). I recently got into XC skiing and my wife and I bought new ski's and needed to be able to hang them in the garage. The garage is small so space is at a premium and all of the other ski mounts I found would only store them stacked and not front facing like these mounts do. I love these mounts because the ski's go nearly flat against the wall and stay put. I don't have to worry about knocking into them all the time while getting into and out of the car, etc. I didn't realize that the ski's hang slightly offset of each other and at first I thought this was a defect but I realize it was by design and does display the ski's with an extra little visual touch that I like. Even though these are hanging in the garage, it's still nice that they are on display and not just hanging like all the other junk in the garage. The quality is high and I can tell I will get many years out of these mounts. They are also easy to mount, just make sure you locate a stud or use the included anchors and definitely use a level - I almost forgot to but glad I did because it would be very noticeable if your ski's are hanging at an angle.
